Kumokirana Seller Terms

These terms apply to anyone (“Seller”, “you”) who creates a shop on kumokirana.com(the “Platform”, operated by Kumokirana). By creating a shop you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, legally able to enter contracts in India, and that the information you provide is accurate.

You agree never to list or sell:

• Items illegal under Indian law, including but not limited to narcotics, controlled substances, weapons, ammunition, explosives, smuggled goods, stolen property, and counterfeit goods.
• Items that infringe the intellectual-property rights of others (trademarks, copyrights, patents).
• Adult or sexually explicit content, gambling services, or anything otherwise restricted under Indian law for minors.
• Food items that lack the registrations / approvals required under FSSAI regulations and applicable food-safety law.
• Live animals, human remains, body parts, body fluids, or anything contrary to the Wildlife Protection Act.
• Medical drugs without a valid pharmacy licence, and any product whose sale is restricted to licensed channels.

You agree never to:

• Engage in fraud, money laundering, manipulate prices, post fake reviews, or misrepresent the product, its origin, or its condition.
• Harass, intimidate, threaten, or abuse buyers, other sellers, or Kumokirana staff.
• Use bots, scripts, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the Platform in ways that are not allowed.
• Attempt to bypass payment, refund, or order systems on the Platform.
• Discriminate against buyers on the basis of caste, religion, gender, disability, or any other ground protected by Indian law.

Product titles, descriptions, photos, prices, weights, and stock counts must be accurate. You must honour orders at the price displayed at the time the buyer placed the order. If a listing is wrong, you may cancel the order with prompt refund — repeated wrong listings or repeated cancellations are grounds for shop suspension.

Kumokirana may change platform fees, payment fees, or delivery fees at any time by giving you at least thirty (30) days’ prior written notice via the email address on file for your account. If you continue to operate your shop on the Platform after the notice period, you accept the new fees. If you do not want to accept them, you must wind down and close your shop before the notice period ends.

If your shop is found, on reasonable evidence, to be a scam, a fraudulent operation, or to be engaging in deceptive practices:

• Your shop will be suspended immediately, and may be permanently terminated.
• Any funds held in escrow or pending settlement may be withheld pending investigation, and may be returned to affected buyers.
• You may be reported to law-enforcement and regulatory bodies, and you accept that you may face criminal prosecution under the Indian Penal Code, Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, and any other applicable Indian law.
• You will indemnify Kumokirana and hold it harmless against any claims, damages, fines, or legal costs arising from your conduct.

You are solely responsible for your own GST registration where required, for tax filings, and for any regulatory licences (including FSSAI, drug licences, BIS, etc.) that apply to your products. You are solely responsible for refunds, returns, and customer disputes for orders placed on your shop. Kumokirana is a technology platform and not the seller of record.

Kumokirana may suspend or terminate your shop at any time for violations of these terms, for legal reasons, or if it determines in good faith that continued operation poses risk to buyers or to the Platform.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the Platform.

By ticking the “I accept the Kumokirana Seller Terms” box on the shop-creation form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms in full.
